Porin Laakeri Oy was founded in 1979 to serve the industries
bearing and transmission products needs in western Finland. We have done this succesfully even since.

Porin Laakeri Oy is a leader in its field in the area it operates. We are able to serve our customers in a flexible way and meet their requirements. Contractual customers will also be served outside the office hours.

We serve both local and OEM customers. This means that our field covers the whole country. We buy products both from Finland and abroad.

The most important import countries are Germany, Italy, Spain, Great Britain, Sweden, Japan, and the United States.
We have been a part off Nomo Kullager since spring 2008 . Nomo has given us possibility to act as importer , given us ''bigger muscles''   Since that we have been apointet to represent both Timken and NSK bearings in Finland .

In 2010 we bought Tasanto Oy in Oulu , northern part off Finland ,an wellknown dealer in bearings and seals ,we also opened office in Helsinki area , where we have emploid John Westerling and Kimmo Riihiaho , both have a long expierence with Timken and NSK , They will be working with OEM and bigger MRO customers through whole off Finland .

We have releast a ''MULTIBRAND '' campain'' to our customers , wich meens that we allways can offer the right bearing for customers needs , weither its a quality need with FAG-INA-TIMKEN-NSK , or a price matter with cheeper brands .

We are also improving our stock to be shure that we can answer to the markets demands .

In 2011 we acquired the Finnish technology trading company Tekniikka Center. The company is bearing and tools specialist and has operations in Turku and Forssa.


Our mothercompanie NOMOS  strategy is to grow in Finland and to be the third largest bearingdistributor after SKF and Schaffler .We look forward to the future with a strong confidence of a company with over 30 years of experience and are ready to accept new challenges!
